Welcome to Veterans Memorial Railroad!

ST. PATRICK’S DAY – Saturday, March 10, 2018
11 am – 3 pm – Steam Train Ride Tickets $10 • Non-Steam Rides Free

Plan a trip to Veterans Memorial Railroad! Public Run Day is the 2nd Saturday of each month (February thru November) from 11 am – 3 pm, with special event dates for Halloween and Christmas. While there is no charge on Public Run Days, we are a volunteer organization and and donations are greatly appreciated.

Call or e-mail us to schedule a special event on either the RWB or Engine No. 59, a steam replica. For an extra special ride, the coal-fired steam engine is available for reservations during the months of NOV, JAN and FEB only.

Ask about having your next birthday or event here and make it a special one to remember! In addition to the train depot and railroad, you will find a children’s playground, covered picnic tables, restroom facilities and a one-mile paved walking trail. Members of IBLS, NRHS, NMBRA or any live steam RR club are cordially invited to visit.

CLICK HERE TO SEE our Halloween Ghost Train and Christmas Polar Bear Express events from 2017 .  If you had the opportunity to see first-hand, you will recall the spectacular ride through the park as these are only samples of the scenes for each event. These are phenomenal events for families who choose to travel to the small town of Bristol to ride the trains and view the scenes. We had outstanding media coverage this year, including two major TV stations from Panama City, wonderful exposure in The Tallahassee Democrat, COCA, as well as other sources, including FACEBOOK.  From our humble beginnings in 2001, Veterans Memorial Railroad, Inc. is now providing a wonderful “train” experience as well as awesome scenes to over 8,000 adults and children.  The events have grown to outstanding productions due to the efforts of many dedicated volunteers, including a talented artist, who work together to finalize these events within a very limited time frame.  It is truly a “labor of love!”  “Love of trains, love of families, and  love of artistic creations.”
